If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, please go to your nearest emergency room, or call your local crisis hotline.
Find A Helpline provides free local contact details internationally.
We work with clients globally online (via Zoom).
We respond within hours of your initial enquiry and can accommodate international time zones. If we are not able to assist you, we will always refer you to other spaces that can contain and support the difficulties you may be facing.
Unlike psychotherapy, which can occur in longer durations or throughout one’s life’s journey, Liminal Place focuses on supporting and containing the individual in a period of crisis: a liminal state, or a state in-between, which is often immediate, or in the short- and medium-terms.
Through stabilisation, we provide space for new awareness as we process these together. Problem solving for crises in a relational space, combined with tools for regulation, alternative ways of seeing and boundary work, all promote an inner world that points towards a ‘mastery’ of the crisis.
Strengthening your constellation of support, we advise on how to maintain self-care for continued recovery. At the end of our journey, referrals to networks of support and other spaces for growth will be an important next step when ending our work together.
Sessions are either 60 or 90 minutes in duration, and we will always endeavour to schedule an initial consultation with you within 24 hours of contact.
We have provided crisis consultation services to clients in the UK, Europe, US, and other parts of the world. We work under a consultation agreement to comply with varying counselling and psychotherapy regulations within different regions abroad. Our work is non-clinical, and we do not provide emergency medical services.
Sessions are £170 / Є200 / $230 and are invoiced monthly. Payments can be made to a UK, EU IBAN, or US account. If outside of these zones, other transfer options may be possible.
